Pro tips for packing a wardrobe
Packing a wardrobe or packing, in general, is a very boring chore. But still, it needs to be done, and it needs to be done properly before the moving day comes. In case you have kids then there are never-ending clothes and clothes to pack. But, we can help you with that. There are few tips you should know so let’s get on it.
Separate the clothes
Don’t pack clothes randomly. Dedicate boxes for each family member and divide the clothes. That will make unpacking easier. Also, for winter clothes use vacuum bags because if you don’t you will end up with hundreds of moving boxes. Make sure to label all the boxes, that is the most important part.
The kids can help too
Don’t do everything on your own. Yes, folding clothes is easy but it’s also easier for the kids. Even toddlers can do it so get them to work. That way they will be included in relocation, that will give them a feeling of being in charge and you will have less work to do. How great is that? Of course, babies can’t do that or younger toddlers but kids above the age of 3 can so give them some time and put them to good use. You can even make a game out of it.
Other uses – going green
If you are considering the environment and don’t want to use bad materials like bubble wrap or packing paper, you can use your clothes as a way to protect your breakables. How cool is that? Simply wrap a vase in your t-shirt and that will be the same as using bubble wrap.
